Meet Our Staff

Michelle Harmon

I was born in Brigham City, Utah, but moved with my family at the age of 10 to the big town of Smoot, in beautiful Star Valley, Wyoming. I grew up on the farm and my heart is still there. I have five terrific children and 11 wonderful grandchildren, who I love to spend time with.

Because of my great love of the outdoors, I became a member of the Cache County Search & Rescue and have a search dog. I have been with SAR for almost five years and also recently acquired my Intermediate EMT certificate. I love Cache Valley and its beautiful surroundings and have lived here for more than 25 years. There is much we have at our fingertips in this great valley.

I began my career at Sunshine Terrace in 1994 as a CNA and have had the opportunity to work in many positions and meet so many people. I was asked to take on the role of Administrator of AquaWorx in January of 2010. I love challenges, so I accepted. I serve as an Ambassador for the Cache Chamber of Commerce and also as a Board Member. I feel the best part of being the Administrator of AquaWorx is still the people. Knowing you made a difference in someone’s life is the best!

Angela Smith, DPT

Angela was born and raised in Logan, Utah. She received her associate’s degree from Dixie State College, her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Utah State, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. Angela had clinical training in the following areas: acute rehab, neurological rehab, vestibular/balance therapy, geriatrics, and orthopedics/outpatient rehab. She now lives in Cache Valley with her husband. She works at AquaWorx Physical Therapy and Fitness where she treats patients of all diagnoses and specializes in balance/dizziness.

The thing Angela loves most about her job is helping people do more and feel better than when they first come in for physical therapy. AquaWorx is her ideal setting to work in because she gets to see a variety of patients, she gets to see her patients one-on-one, and the facility has a lot to offer for treating patients. She likes running, being outdoors, reading a good book, spending time with family and friends, and eating ice cream!
