Laura Spall, RN
Director of Nursing for Hospice & Sunshine Cares

Hello, my name is Russell Robbins, and I am the Director of Nursing for Sunshine Home Health and Hospice. I have lived in Cache Valley since 2001. During that time I have gone to Bridgerland Applied Technology College, Utah State University, and Weber State University. In Cache Valley is where I met my Wife and we now have three wonderful children. We enjoy the walking trails, camping, swimming, fishing, going to movies, and driving over to Bear Lake to enjoy a raspberry shake.

I have worked in the Home Health and Hospice field since 2009 and I thoroughly enjoy it. I am grateful to be able to work and live in such a wonderful area. It gives me great satisfaction in knowing that I am serving the people in the community maintain their wellness, independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Amy Anderson
Spiritual Counselor

I appreciate the trust Sunshine Terrace Foundation families have placed in me to meet their spiritual needs and concerns.

Born in New York and raised outside of Chicago, I received my Bachelors in Communication from Northwestern University where I met my husband of 28 years, Allan Anderson. After earning my Masters in Hospital Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, we settled back in Chicago where I worked with hospitals, medical practices, the American Hospital Association and the American Medical Association Alliance while building our family. Our three children, Kathryn, AJ and Peter, fulfill my life and have made me a better (and more patient) person. I also completed training in biblically based conflict resolution through Peacemakers Ministries and mediation at Brigham Young Law School.

Moving to Logan in 2004, primarily to ski, hike and run, I’ve come to love the Valley and its people and am proud to call Logan my home. My experience with the broad and diverse faith community here in Cache Valley comes through work with youth and adults, service to my church and service to the community as a board member for the Loaves and Fishes Community Meal. Through my work with the National Children’s Study at Utah State, I consider myself a bit of an Aggie, although I will always be an NU Wildcat at heart!
