Adopt-a-Grandparent
Looking for a service opportunity? Adopt-a-Grandparent is a fun program established to allow community members a volunteer opportunity to mingle on a regular basis with the residents of the Sunshine Terrace Community.
Some benefits for you include a great feeling of satisfaction knowing you are helping form a needed bond with someone from your community, an excellent resume builder, lasting friendships and so much more!
Plan Your Own Activity
Are you part of a unique club, group or organization? Do you have a talent or hobby you would like to share with our residents? We are always looking for community volunteers who are willing to share their talents and abilities with our wonderful residents.
Assist With an Activity
Every day the Recreation Therapy department provides therapeutic activities for the residents and can almost always use assistance in these! Check out our monthly Recreation Therapy calendar. We ask that volunteers come at least 30 minutes prior to any activity to help gather residents. You must be a registered volunteer to assist with activities.
Hospice Volunteers
Sunshine Hospice is rich with history and has wonderful opportunities to serve. We welcome both administrative and patient care volunteers who offer companionship, advocacy, friendship and help with daily activities to our patients.
